Where Are All Frith's Fics?

Hello! I write fic. Mostly it's fairly gen but with dialled up or down shippy feelings. Mostly it's also hurt/comfort. Current fandoms: mainly 镇魂|Guardian, with Vorkosigan always on the side.

Everything from the last 8 years or so is on AO3; prior to that it is kicking around the internet in various places, and I also don't vouch for the quality. I have quite a lot of fandoms on my AO3 page where I have only written one or two fics, usually for exchanges. I'm not listing those as there are too many.

Hello! I followed you over here from AO3. Your Guardian fics were some of the first I read when I first got into this fandom a little over a year ago. You don't even want to know how many times I've reread your Beneath the Sun series. It's become my go-to comfort fic. I think I read it even before I finished watching Guardian. ^_^ (And now that I see you've written DMBJ fic (how did I miss that??), I'm going to have to check those out, too!)

Anyway, I also wanted to share something I've been working on with you. See, one of my hobbies is bookbinding, and there has been a bit of a movement in recent years to start making bound copies of fanfiction (just to clarify: this is not for sale or to make a profit, just for personal use and admiration and for preservation. ^_^)

And since Beneath the Sun means so much to me, I would love to make that my first bookbinding project, and I would love to make a second copy for you, if you were interested in having one. (Here is a mockup of what some of the pages would look like. ^_^) Anyway, I hope you're well, and thank you for all the amazing fic! ^_^

Oh my GOODNESS, I am amazingly flattered that you want to make my fic into an actual book! You certainly have permission, and I would be beyond thrilled to have a copy! Please let me know if there's anything you need from me - although for the text, you're probably better off copying it straight from AO3 where the formatting's rendered, as I type the html tags into my documents as I go.

I'm really delighted to hear that you've enjoyed my Guardian fics, thank you so much for sharing that with me <3 And yeah, I'm in DMBJ at the moment, although my fics are pretty much exclusively focused on Liu Sang, if he's a character you're interested in. (I apologise for the hiatus my current WIP is on; my offline life is pretty full-on at the moment.)

Anyway! I'm seriously so excited about the idea of this, you've made my whole week! <3

:D Oh, I'm so glad to hear that! :D Believe me, it's my pleasure. ^_^ And I'm only sorry I hadn't told you before now how much your fics mean to me. They got me through some really rough patches and have continued to do so multiple times over the last year. This is the least I can do as a thank you! ^_^

I actually... went ahead and made the first copy. XD It's all done except for setting it into its case binding, but I do have pictures of the progress so far, so... here are some progress shots for you to enjoy? ^_^ I'm going to make yours pretty similar to this one, so I hope you like it! ^_^

And oh gosh, no need to ever apologize for WiP hiatuses! I've both been there and done that and I know how RL can get... hectic. (Hopefully it's a good kind of full and hectic, though?) And I DO like Liu Sang, though I usually swim more in the Iron Triangle end of the pool. But given that it's you writing him, I just might have to wander over and dip my toes in. ^_^

Anyway, thank you again for giving me permission to do this! As for what I would need from you, eventually I'll need an address to send the book to, but other than that, I can't think of anything?
