Yuletide letter
Oct. 30th, 2019 01:31 pmHello! This is my Yuletide letter. It is very similar to other exchange letters I've written recently.
General fic likes
What I really like in literally all circumstances is hurt/comfort for my faves. Fluffy hurt comfort all the way down to really intense tragic hurt/comfort (I have a not-so-secret preference for the more intense end). I love all the super tropey things in this genre -- magical exhaustion, concussion, drugged, huddling for warmth, feverish hallucinations, etc etc. I'm also here for the strong friendships and emotional feels. (I'm also extremely here for ANGST if you like that.)
In general I don't have particularly strong feelings for romance stuff -- I live on the spectrum that's "gen with loads of emotions", "shippy gen", "established relationship where the relationship is just there and taken for granted". So while I've put ships below, I'd prefer romance not be the main focus and whether you write ship or gen for any of the characters is up to you.
Types of fic I like include episode-of-the-week stuff (or a slice from such), tags and missing scenes, canon divergent AUs, just general stories of the characters being themselves and interacting and having a great (or awful) time.
DNWs
Non-canon AUs, stuff set pre-canon (except for W359), sex scenes (kissing plus fade-to-black is really as far as I like), anything at all to do with pregnancy.
