She opens her eyes and the light is all wrong, yellow-orange and flickering and oddly blurred, and the ringing is blotting out all other sounds, drowning out Luo Fei who is very close and very dishevelled and looking on the edge of frantic.

It barely deserved being called a cave.
None of these were quite as well-edited as I'd have liked because of the terrible Christmas of being ill the whole time. The one I'm happiest with was definitely Consent, which I was also deeply scared of posting and did consider keeping it anon forever. I'm pretty relieved/overjoyed that it's had a good reception!

Sweet casefic where Shen Wei deals pretty badly with losing his powers (and I love that look at him being actually pretty unwilling to adapt) and Zhao Yunlan is a really excellent boyfriend.

Canon deviation during/around episode 33. Ye Zun tries to break his brother a different way. There are consequences. T, 4535w
Super creepy/dark take on what Ye Zun did to Shen Wei on the pillar. This is heartbreaking for both of them, Shen Wei especially is so wounded here, and Zhao Yunlan is doing everything he can.

I got three things written and in the Yuletide collection in the end -- one of them posted literally ten minutes before the collection closed this morning -- and one more that I finished not long ago and is in the Madness collection. I think three of them are quite obviously me and one of them less so. Minor prize if you guess them!

Yuletide letter
Oct. 30th, 2019 01:31 pmHello! This is my Yuletide letter. It is very similar to other exchange letters I've written recently.
General fic likes
What I really like in literally all circumstances is hurt/comfort for my faves. Fluffy hurt comfort all the way down to really intense tragic hurt/comfort (I have a not-so-secret preference for the more intense end). I love all the super tropey things in this genre -- magical exhaustion, concussion, drugged, huddling for warmth, feverish hallucinations, etc etc. I'm also here for the strong friendships and emotional feels. (I'm also extremely here for ANGST if you like that.)
In general I don't have particularly strong feelings for romance stuff -- I live on the spectrum that's "gen with loads of emotions", "shippy gen", "established relationship where the relationship is just there and taken for granted". So while I've put ships below, I'd prefer romance not be the main focus and whether you write ship or gen for any of the characters is up to you.
Types of fic I like include episode-of-the-week stuff (or a slice from such), tags and missing scenes, canon divergent AUs, just general stories of the characters being themselves and interacting and having a great (or awful) time.
DNWs
Non-canon AUs, stuff set pre-canon (except for W359), sex scenes (kissing plus fade-to-black is really as far as I like), anything at all to do with pregnancy.
