Festivids letter

Hi! I'm excited for festivids this year, thank you so much for making something for me!

The canons I've nominated this year are mostly (apart from Goose Game) ones that I just find visually beautiful and I'd be extremely happy to have a vid with no more of a theme than PRETTY. Or I do really like character focus vids, or vids which tell the narrative of the story or a character journey (especially for film canons).

I'm fine with any level of violence etc that's in the canon, with the exception of my DNW note for Shape of Water.

Music-wise: None of these are fandoms I have especial ship feelings for, so I guess I'd prefer not to have hugely romantic songs, but I'm here for any and all canon friendships. I have a very strong preference for songs with lyrics I can easily pick up, rather than instrumental or non-English-language ones, but other than that I'm open to any music style.

Mortal Engines (2018) [SAFETY]

Hester is my favourite, and Katherine is my second-favourite. I'd be equally happy with a vid focusing on the world, or really any of the characters.

Never Alone (Video Game)

I love this game, it's so beautiful! Anything, really. (I'd rather you focused on the actual game-play bits rather than the documentary segments.)

The Expanse (TV)

I don't reeeeeally care about Holden or Miller, but I don't mind them as part of the ensemble. Everyone else is wonderful and I'd love a team/ensemble vid or something focusing on any of the characters or on friendships between a couple of them. (Amos is my favourite. Then Alex and Naomi.)

The Shape of Water (2017) [SAFETY]

DNW: Please NOTHING with the awful hand stuff, it makes me literally sick to even think about.

I adore the entire rest of the film, though! And all the other characters and friendships and the monster romance.

I put this in because it's funny. Do whatever you like! :D

I love this show. It's all so pretty and slick and delightful! Anything with Luo Fei or Qin Xiaoman or Ben, alone or in combo, would be wonderful. (I low-key ship them as an OT3 but also really like all their friendships.)
