Blackout by Mira Grant (the third volume of the Newsflesh trilogy) just arrived in the post. Claire and I spent five minutes in the kitchen shrieking with excitement at the cover. Fran came in and was very "...wat" so we shrieked at her for a bit.

Fran: I don't see why I should be excited. You won't let me read it until after Katherine, and I'm your girlfriend.
Claire: You refuse to squee fannishly about stuff with me, so Katherine gets it first. Also, she reads about five times faster than you do.
Fran: *thinks about this, then steals all the biscuits and runs away*

I love my house :D

EDIT: YAY I HAVE FOUND A TORRENT AND NOW I HAVE IT ON MY KINDLE. Claire and I are now racing.
