Today I'm catching up with LJ, which is nice. So many fics that I'd opened in tabs and not had time to read!

I should probably have gone to the TolkSoc quiz, but I'm still recovering from completely crashing over the past couple of days, so leaving the house wasn't going to happen. Fun times. This is a general apology to any of you who are reading this. Weirdly enough, what finally dragged me out of the crash was throwing all my depression/angst at Neal. I shall remember this for future use.

Oh, and for the hell of it I added up my word counts in Scrivener. Since discovering the fandom in mid-December I've written 45,000 words of White Collar fic (32,000 words posted). Which is a little scary. And a little hilarious. If only this were at all relevant to my degree! XD

For random lols: A tongue-in-cheek complaint to an ISP, and their totally wonderful response. "The problem is my router is apparently very attractive to my cat."

And that ISP thing is hilarious! One of my cats knocked out my router in a different way--by chewing through the ethernet cable. GAH.

Ahaha, oh dear, poor cable XD When I eventually have a place of my own and a cat I shall try to protect my electronics suitably!

Fanfic is excellent therapy. Apart from my lectures, yesterday was spent pretty much either asleep or writing angst (and I wasn't very awake in the lectures, lol). It's sort of hilarious in retrospect :P

LOL at the ISP link. Our cat, no lie, once threw up in our router. We were very glad it still worked afterwards, because it would have been embarrassing to explain what happened to the old one if we had to ask for a new one.

And this is yet another reason I can use to justify why I keep writing fanfic :D I still have so many finale tags fighting for space in my head, and people keep posting awesome prompts on collarcorner...

...that sounds terribly not-fun to clean. I feel a bit bad for laughing at that XD
