Hello! I have... literally not looked at my DW feed once since the last time I posted. Massive build up of anxiety/avoidance/guilt/shame, in pretty much that order. And I don't think I can manage to catch up with that much back-reading. Do you have any news I've missed?

I've still been sewing. Obsessively. I've had 19 orders through my tiny business, which is pretty rad! (Yes, I know everyone who's ordered from me :P) Have not yet made a profit, but I'm having fun.

Liongirl is great. She had her first birthday! I can't believe she's lived with us for over a year now! She is an incredibly fast crawler and SCARILY good at climbing. All the fear is on the side of her mums, and none on hers.

Hi! <3 I have read back a bit and seen that you've been having a rough time, I'm so sorry about that. *massive hugs*

A whole year, I know! I got her a little photobook of her life so far printed out (narrowing it down to 22 photos was incredibly difficult!), and going back through all the photos was a trip, she has changed SO MUCH! She's wonderful, and really really funny. Currently she's in the putting-things-in-other-things stage. For hours.

Interaction is always loved but never required. Mostly, since you last posted (checks last post), I have lamented the state of the world, talked about writing, it's rained so much our roof leaked, and I've told a few funny tales of the daughter. I'm delighted you're still enjoying sewing and I'm considering getting a sewing machine for myself...

Nice to hear from you! And happy birthday Liongirl! That stage when they’re mobile but have zero awareness that gravity might be a problem is absolutely nervewracking. It’s definitely responsible for some of my grey hairs :-)

At least she is now really pretty good about getting off things/going down stairs etc backwards, and she's very careful. It's just mostly nervewracking because she's very good at climbing to *reach* things, like crockery, and she wants to throw everything very hard at the floor... XD

I can't believe Liongirl is a whole year old. It's ridiculous. But she's changed so much, this time last year she was just a little potato who couldn't do anything, and now she doesn't stop!
