Just started something new, for one of Tann's prompts :D So this is the entirety of what I've written so far, it is the complete first section.
K.C. on twitter earlier gave me an amazing tagline in the context of my failure at writing supposed established relationship. "Not quite fast enough for slow burn." I'm going to write ACTUAL ship content this time, hold me to this.

Zhao Yunlan waited patiently for his phone to connect, his feet up on his desk. Well. Semi-patiently.
"Hello?" Shen Wei sounded almost offensively normal. As if he hadn't just been off-grid for two days. Leaving Zhao Yunlan to worry himself sick.
"Hey, it's me," Zhao Yunlan said. Office hours. Shen Wei had resurfaced for his office hours.
There was a heavy sound — the receiver being slammed down hastily — and the call disconnected.
