Guys.  Guys.  I have OVER 9000 words of my big bang story written now!

...yeah, I'm so mature.  What, you'd noticed?

In other news, I have done nothing produtive in the last 24 hours since I started playing Dragon Age, which was a really stupid thing to do during Trinity term, but it's an awesome game.  I still prefer FPSs, but RPGs are growing on me.  I do wish I could isolate 'real life' feelings and 'game feelings' though - I feel ridiculously guilty at the idea of not giving the politist answer possible in all circumstances, and for asking for rewards for doing side-quests.  Also I *really* want Morrigan to like me, 'cos she's awesome, but she doesn't like it when I'm nice to people and do aforesaid ridiculous side-quests like getting a child out of a hiding place or whatever.  I'm not cool enough for a fictional character.  T_T

ETA:  Also, there is a distinct lack of dragons so far...

Don't know about Dragon Age (I'm not into much computer game-wise these days - well, accept three Facebook games!!!), but happy to hear you're over 9000 words on your big bang story!! Go you!! *waves pom poms* I'm looking forward to reading it! In fact, it may very well be the first of the big bangs I do read!!

I played Dragon Age for a few hours, but I like my games to be all action, with minimal talking/cut-scenes. I only like having one character too - controlling 4 at once is a button pressing nightmare. Alas, as with Mass Effect, I didn't like it :(

My fav RPGs (that I could play forever!) are Fallout3, Morrowind, Oblivion and older ones like Champions of Norrath and Baldur's Gate (both on PS2). I have dabbled with Final Fantasy and Breath of Fire, but I love Western RPGs on consoles the most.

I'm an insane collector and looter. What I really love about them is levelling up to get stronger, and getting better gear after killing things :)

I'm totally addicted to Borderlands at the moment, and most recently, the Armoury expansion. I think I need a bigger gun *g*

ETA - Borderlands is a sort of RPG/FPS fusion thing :) Oh, *facepalm* congrats on your BB fic - chugging along nicely ;) I've given up on all LJ challenges for now (except that many fanged FF100 scary monster).
