My cockroach now has a name.  He is called Spencer.  baby_werewolf  and I are currently squeeing over him (and named him via hivemind).

Glad you like the name! It's after Spencer Reid in Criminal Minds, who is also quirky and cute and odd, rather like having a cockroach as a pet! :D

Rather than training him to come at your call, could you not train him to do biology essays? Although admittedly he will have a rather high standard to live up to.

It is nice that you were rewarded for your long vigil in the museum!

You're welcome to come and meet Spencer at any time! Sadly can't bring him to OUSFG as I have much work, and it probably wouldn't be appreciated anyway :P

I'd like to train him to do essays, but I'm not sure how he'd hold a pen...

I now feel a fool having asked what his name is in a latter post by bw, hello spence, as far as I am aware their was a project a while back to produce remote contol cockroaches but given the level of invasive surgery required I'm sure you will stick to obedience school. sit spencer, roll over, good boy......

I never realised just how big he was, not to mention pretty, what does he eat?

I don't really think I can take him out of my room to kill people with :P But, as I said, do feel free to drop in sometime (but tell me first!)

Also, a truce sounds good - I haven't played before, so I wouldn't stack the odds against me by having you out to kill me from the start! :P

effectively your a new player and so the "old guard" esp. Quintus, Mirabelle, & the other magdalenites wont know what to expect in the way of tactics ect... this can be used to meta-game against them in a doubling up eg, using the ol' fresher's knock on door trick will prob lure them out in the hope of an easy kill only to be taken out by a concealed acomplice. Hmmmm I really do spend too much time thinking about assassins and how to kill people.....ahh welll...
