*meep* It does make me happy! Thank you so much! You really pressed a ton of my buttons here; your Toph is so perfectly herself -- so prickly and commitment-shy, but so matter-of-fact and un-angsty about it ... and then she drops everything and goes rushing off to save Zuko the instant he's in trouble. XD And I love the understated h/c with Zuko (oh, Zuko), and how his plans still kind of suck, but luckily he has friends to rescue him from the consequences of his own heroics. :D Toph not being able to figure out the extent of Zuko's injuries, but not really trying either (because obviously he's not, like, coughing up blood or anything), is a fantastic detail. And, oh, I love how "home" is Iroh's teashop. ♥ ♥ ♥ Thank you for writing this!
