Look, I made a vid! I think I wanted to celebrate the start of Easter Vac by doing something completely different from of my usual time-wasting pursuits. So I've been obsessively making this all day... and now it's 2am. Whoops.

This is great! The song fits her very well, an Azula I don't see in canon exactly like that but almost, who is just a tiny angle away and is maybe because of that very interesting. Actually the more I think about it the better it fits canon!Azula too.
The first ten seconds are especially wonderful. Other favorite moments: 0:42, the rising airship; 0:51, Azula and Zuko, the music part starting at 2:00, 2:34 onwards and all the great fight scenes, Ozai as oak falling down, and others. Downloading right now :)

Eee! Thank you! (And yeah, I have a tendency to do things like this very obsessively. I spent pretty much the entire day on it XD)
I pretty much thought of Azula as soon as I heard this song...uh, the day before yesterday :P It's a really good villainess song, very unashamed about wanting power, and that's part of what I do like about Azula. She's sociopathic, but I love watching her! (Also, I really hate the 'goes crazy' thing which she got stuck with in the end.) Actually, I think this vid portrays her as much less of a villain than she is, but I was trying to go from her point of view a bit. Like, take it as read that she's evil, and showcase her awesomeness while she does it :D
And hee, you picked all of my favourite moments! The last verse was definitely my favourite to vid, I was saving the finale fight for then.
Thank you again! :D In answer to your question, my vac is five/six weeks (the last week is 0th week of term, which is a sort of strange undecided thing). I do need to do a load of work, but I also want to make more viiiiids now, especially some White Collar ones! Not to mention all my WIP fics... *gg*

I just found this, and wow, wow wow. This is the perfect song for her. I swear, this vid makes it seem like she's trying to convince her brother to join her in overthrowing their father (which if she believed they could, she totally would... I may have to use that for Kindle the Wind). This is glorious.
