I finished it! I spent a lot of time stressing about various things to do with this fic, including chapter length, Too Much Plot, and the entire premise of it, but now that I'm done I think I'm fairly happy :) I'm pretty sure this will be my one and only time writing a fixit for this fandom which is completely canon-compliant, though. (The relationship counts as canon, obvs.)

I think I'm mostly pleased with the things I tried in this fic, even in the places where I'm not totally happy with the execution? (I've had a comment earlier today that overall they enjoyed it despite it "seeming disjointed" which was one of the things I was afraid of, so bleh.)

Congratulations on finishing this!!! It's amazing and I cannot wait to read these last chapters. You've mentioned it gave you trouble on multiple fronts but it reads as very fluid and effortless storytelling to me; well done wrangling all that!
