Hurtcomfortex letter
Dear hurt/comfort person:
Thank you so much for writing for me! Hurt/comfort is my major, major jam and by far the main thing I read fic for. I do like there to be some comfort, but I am also very here for the hurt so don't be afraid to go to town :D
I admit, I am completely overwhelmed by the AO3 tagset and just used some of the more generic ones in my sign-up. Please don't feel you have to use/stick to them! As long as it's not in my DNWs, I promise I will be really happy with anything you choose to write. In general I really love emotional closeness and characters working together against whatever's going wrong. I'm really really here for non-sexual intimacy.
Hc tropes/tags I particularly like: (yes I did use the same tags for all the fandoms)
Head injury, altered states (from any cause), hypothermia, fever, blood loss, hiding injury/illness, exhaustion, magical exhaustion.
Guardian
Shen Wei/Zhao Yunlan, either or both hurt
I love these two and their intense co-dependence and taking awful risks for each other while being VERY UPSET when the other one does that. And they are both very invested in being FINE even when they're clearly not.
Established relationship preferred. I am very fond of the hand-wavy post-canon setting where they live together and we totally ignore certain things that happened, unless it's a fic about dealing with the trauma of that (which I'm also down with, but happy ending please.) Or episode tags -- I will never get tired of ep 33 tags in particular.
DNW: Sex scenes, sexual h/c tropes, gender/sex/bodyswap, homophobia, setting-change AUs.
Guardian RPF
Zhu Yilong/Bai Yu, Zhu Yilong hurt
I'm quite new to RPF so still working out which tropes I like and don't like. I think I prefer "private" stories where the focus is on just the two of them rather than stories about dealing with fans, filming Guardian, etc. I'm also very happy for complete AUs!
DNW: Sex scenes, sexual h/c tropes, gender/sex/bodyswap, homophobia, coronavirus.
The Expanse
Amos/Alex, Amos/Prax or Amos & Naomi, Amos hurt
(The ships above can also be & instead of /, I'm not really a big shipper in general.)
I'm quite focused in this fandom on hurt!Amos, as you can probably tell. He's a really interesting character to me, and definitely the sort to be incredibly stoic and carry on until past the point of collapse -- he needs the people around him to recognise when he's doing this and forcing him to be looked after!
